what does the wherewithal do?
The definition of Wherewithal is "the necessary means". The Wherewithal provides career development services to individuals and organizations so you have everything you need to take your career in the direction you desire. For some people that may mean a completely different career direction to the one you're in now. For others it will be discovering what it is that excites you in the area of career or maybe you want to work on making sure you climb the career ladder in your chosen profession as quickly as possible.
how does the service work?
Using my skills as an experienced coach and career counsellor we'll begin by identifying your core values. This is immensely valuable in matching values to your desired career. We'll then explore your preferred skills and identify where you fit in the world of work. We'll then set your career goals which we'll work towards.

Everyone's goals will be different. Each session we have will last one hour. In that hour we'll go about finding solutions to your career concerns so you're always moving forward. You'll be moving forward at a much greater rate than if you tried to do this on your own.
how much does it cost and how often do I need to see you?
A standard one hour session with Claire is $137.50 including GST. The fee for full time students is $77.00 including GST. The fee for Centrelink healthcare card holders is $66.00

My recommendation is to come for one session, then we can discuss whether further sessions are warranted. My aim is to get you going as quickly as possible. The average number of times clients come to see me is 3-4 times.
will you be able find me a job?
The Wherewithal is not a job placement service. However we will certainly provide you with all the tools and resources necessary to assist you in securing a job. This includes assistance with resume writing, interview and presentation skills, as well as tapping into the "hidden job market".
